A CALL FOR TRUTH : SAM SMITH ADDRESSES MEDIA MISINFORMATION
Open Letter to Broadcasters and Media
I am writing this open letter to address the misleading information and misinformation being broadcast and published by certain media outlets regarding my books, my works, and even my identity.
For some time now, I have been actively trying to correct the record. I have attempted to post numerous articles and have specifically requested that anyone with questions reach out to me directly, rather than relying on assumptions, speculation, or the creation of theoretical scenarios.
Unfortunately, my efforts to contact Canadian radio stations, newspapers, and various media outlets have been consistently ignored. They have instead chosen to continue their pattern of assumptions and the creation of unsubstantiated theories. This unpleasant approach has crossed a significant line, almost daily, by questioning my identity and even spreading harmful rumors that my daughters are the person I claim to be.
I went so far as to send substantial evidence—including pictures, details of my professional work experience, recommendations, and my professional engineer's license—to the Canadian Radio- Television and telecommunications commission . I specifically asked for intervention to stop this public misleading; however, just as with my other attempts, my request was ignored and likely sent straight to an archive or deleted.
As clearly stated on my LinkedIn profile (https://www.linkedin.com/in/azamdayyan), I worked as a Project Controls Lead for more than 20 years. Due to significant professional challenges, including work harassment, corruption, and many changes in my personal life, I made a major career transition from engineering to becoming a writer.
My seven published books are currently available on Amazon worldwide ( https://www.amazon.com/author/samsmithbooks )
I maintain a blog ( https://samsmithbook.blogspot,com ) where I openly detail the experiences I have been through, with the hope of providing support to others who are facing injustice, abuse, and wrong advertising.
To be absolutely clear: I am the person I have publicly posted myself to be. There is nothing mysterious or hidden about my life or my work.
I am once again requesting that if anyone in the media or the public has any questions regarding my work, my books, or my identity, they cease making theoretical or speculative statements and instead ask me directly.
I am available on almost every major platform under my pen name, Sam Smith.
