MIND VS. MONEY, THE BATTLE
I recall a time in school when we were asked to write an essay comparing whether knowledge or wealth was better. Teachers seemed to expect us to argue that knowledge was superior. Years later, I’ve noticed a growing tension, almost like a war, between wealth, knowledge, and power. Some wealthy individuals seem determined to prove their money outweighs any degree or intellectual pursuit. Each side—wealth, knowledge, and power—claims to be the best.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but using wealth or power to bully or belittle those who value learning is not just defending a viewpoint; it’s an attempt to dominate. Personally, I’ve experienced people flaunting their wealth in my face because I chose writing, learning, and reading over chasing money. Some go further, trying to buy what others have, and if it’s not for sale, they take it by force. This abusive behavior raises questions: Are they sabotaging the value of wealth and power, or are they genuinely part of those groups, desperately trying to prove their superiority over knowledge?
On the other side, those with higher degrees are fighting back, using their knowledge as a weapon. Caught in the middle—those labeled as “persons of interest” or “in between”—are suffering, often without a voice or a trace.
