TRAUMA AND TIMING

Business professionals often strive to think logically, minimizing the involvement of their feelings to maintain professionalism. Conversely, in our personal lives, we typically rely on our hearts and emotions rather than pure logic.

This contrast highlights a deviation from what makes sense in terms of appropriate timing and life stage. For instance, expecting a recent university graduate to still behave like a child, or a child acts like a grown-up , is widely considered inappropriate.

Yet, it seems there are some individuals who fail to understand the impacts of timing on decision-making. They insist others remain the same person they were before a disaster, the loss of a loved one, or life-changing trauma such as abuse and bullying. This insistence often appears to be an attempt to cover up their own past negligence or long-term abuse.

The ironic fact is that they sometimes accuse their victims of being heartless or lacking feeling, completely disregarding the history of abuse and ignorance the victim has endured.

Unfortunately, these harmful tactics don't offer healing; they inflict additional abuse. It is precisely these types of bullying and harassment that contribute to the cycles of hate and revenge we witness in society.
