THE UNSEEN PRISON- GASLIGHTING & IDENTITY THEFT

Gaslighting is a mental and emotional abuse designed to make a victim doubt her sanity. Typically, victims are advised to seek support from trusted family and friends. But what if those same family and friends are part of the abuse?

What can a victim do when everyone works together to switch her identity with a mentally ill person, treating her like the other person and stealing her life? The abuse is so severe that even doctors treat the victim as if she has schizophrenia and is delusional. They take her driver's license, prevent her from working, control her through her own neighborhood, and isolate her from everyone with excuses like, 'She's sick.'

Then, her own husband pretends to be the sick person's son. Any time she tries to get help from authorities or health providers, they all treat her like a person from a far-off place, with fewer rights and opportunities. In a situation where everyone is involved in the gaslighting, what can the victim do? How do human rights protect her and save her from this constant abuse?
