THE PRICE OF SOMEONE ELSE'S ACTIONS
We all live with the consequences of our decisions. At any given moment, we have to make choices—some are small, like what to eat or wear, while others are significant, like getting married, having kids, or moving to a new city. These are a normal part of life, and while we might not always get the outcome we expect, we generally understand that our choices lead to certain results.
What makes this journey truly difficult are the consequences of decisions we are forced to make. For example, quitting a job due to a hostile work environment, leaving a partner because of abuse, or moving away from a community due to gossip and harassment. In these situations, we are forced to suffer the consequences of someone else's behavior, actions, or imagination.
Why do others feel entitled to interfere in our private lives, creating lies and false theories, and then go on to live their lives happily while we deal with the fallout? When we are forced to make life-altering decisions because of a bully, the legal system should step in to stop the abuse. As long as the law ignores or allows bullies to control and spy on others, this painful cycle will continue.
