EMPTY APOLOGIES

Some individuals who suffered from childhood trauma or abuse may bully others to cope with their untreated issues. While they might later apologize to the person they targeted, the public humiliation and social impact on the victim remain. This tactic allows the bully to temporarily address their own pain, but it leaves the victim to deal with the lasting consequences.

Based on personal experience with this type of behavior, it's clear that bullying is not a solution. It's a temporary fix that can make a person seem weak and unstable to those who understand the manipulation. To those who don't, this behavior can be seen as a joke and passed on, eventually becoming an accepted part of our culture. I recommend that anyone engaging in this behavior seek help from a psychologist or psychiatrist to address the root causes of their actions.
