SLIPPING BACK

Thousands of years ago, people created statues and prayed to them, believing they could save, cure, or support them in times of need. Later, religious leaders addressed this unawareness by inviting people to join a religion that believed God is omnipresent, eliminating the need to destroy others' statues to prove one's own was superior.

This progress continued for centuries, with the hope that humans would understand that making a big deal out of what they have, while others have different things,  only leads to conflict and war.

In 2024, we still witness people making a big deal out of their spouses, kids, homes, and possessions, trying to damage others to prove their superiority based on race, gender, age, or nationality. As a writer and author, I have even faced this approach in the realm of fiction, where characters are often judged and compared based on their attributes, rather than their inherent value and worth.

Are we regressing to centuries past?
