LET IT GO OR NOT

The decision to keep children close to home or allow them to venture further aboard is a complex one. While some parents and societies prioritize keeping children nearby, often citing protection as the reason, others recognize the value of giving children the freedom to grow and explore.

In my view, parents fall into two categories: those who selflessly prioritize their child's potential, even if it means letting go, and those who prioritize their own emotional needs, sometimes at the expense of their child's independence.

The former inspires children to fly, giving them the freedom to explore and discover, while the latter may inadvertently ground them, leading to emotional and limiting their progress .

Some parents resort to guilt-tripping and emotional blackmail to keep their children from leaving home, but this tactic can backfire. In today's society, overly restrictive environments can foster a sense of desperation, prompting individuals to seek out paths to independence and freedom.
