CULTURAL INTERFERENCE

Separation and divorce are emotionally and mentally exhausting experiences that shouldn't be compounded by others' interference, especially for newly single women and men.

Unfortunately, in many societies, divorced or separated women are viewed as a threat to families or seen as contradicting certain beliefs and religious teachings.

As a result, women who have ended an unhappy marriage may face rumors, labeling, and even isolation from those who fear that their single status will somehow threaten their marriages, assuming that her 'failure' will rub off on them.

While respecting religion and culture is essential, it's crucial to recognize that when these beliefs infringe upon another person's life, they violate human and civil rights.
