SEEKING ATTENTION ?

It is obvious that women's bodies are different from men's, and women's sensitivities are different from men's. Talking about equality is a centuries-old discussion, and a common mistake is assuming they should be able to do the same activities or have the same power, or other assumptions that are not the definition of equality.

I personally faced verbal abuse about if women wear perfume or makeup or dress up being a sign of weakness, and it means they are looking for men or crying for attention. While in today's world, many men spend lots of time wearing the best outfits, fixing their hair, and looking good can we assume they are crying for attention ? Of course not, we all enjoy smelling nice perfume or seeing a pretty dress, just like starving when a delicious food is on the table or watching a beautiful bird .

Those verbal abuses seem to target cosmetic companies and stores rather than directly targeting women. It's possible that fear of attraction and rejection drives these behaviors. Historically, women were restricted in various ways, but they've proven capable of holding critical positions and managing groups of people.

In hundreds of years ago, even calling a wife by her name was socially forbidden, men thinking even their name might attract another man, and in some cultures, husbands were calling their wife 'weak' as a symbol that they are married with a strong version of human that is called man.

However, for decades, women have proved those assumptions are worthless, and they are capable of having critical positions and managing a group of people. But still, if a woman decides to stay home without work, try to look good, starts her day with a music or socially be active, the same scared men who have fear of rejection start to call women weak and pretend just those who are careless about their outfit or easily get attracted to any man regardless of his social and economical position are strong.

The question is, really, is this the meaning of equality, or is this another cover-up for lack of a specific group's failures?
