ENTERTAINMENT'S UGLY TRUTH

In the entertainment world, do we really need to sabotage other works to get ahead? It seems this business is more competitive than it should be.

Using media, radio, TV, and advertising to damage other potential works for a new movie or TV series, the entertainment world is reverting to a time when people believed in burning witches to stay safe.

Taking a main character from books and creating a bad or scary portrayal to make the public fear reading or turning a book into a movie is a desperate attempt to promote bad movies.

However, millions of people, including myself, watch movies and can often guess what will happen from the beginning. Yet, it's still enjoyable to watch them, and they generate billions of dollars in profits for investors and supporters.

The question remains: do we really need to sabotage other works to promote our own?
