LOST IN TRANSLATION

 In today's multicultural world, where people speak various languages, it's essential to be mindful of words that may have different meanings in different languages.

One word might have a positive connotation in one language but a negative or even offensive meaning in another. We should avoid judging or making assumptions based on specific words that may be lost in translation.

Personally, I've encountered names that mean something undesirable in English, and vice versa. Given that English is the official language in our country, let's focus on the intended meaning in English and avoid misunderstandings arising from alternative meanings in other languages.
