WRITING TRUTH IN THE FACE OF DENIAL

As a writer, I strive to shed light on social and political issues that often go unnoticed, hoping to spark solutions or at least draw attention to their root causes. Unfortunately, throughout my career, I've observed a disturbing pattern. It's as if the unspoken rule is: "If you can't solve a problem, eliminate the question."

Instead of addressing the issues I raise in my articles, books, or verbal communications, there's often an attempt to sabotage them. This can take many forms: pretending the issue doesn't exist, obscuring it with lies and tricks, or even trying to suppress my work and complaints entirely.

This situation raises a difficult question: Who truly suffers from this harassment? Is it me, the writer, whose work is being undermined, or is it the people impacted by these issues, who are used as a means to cover up or ignore the problems?
