BEYOND JUDGMENT

In certain societal circles, a divorced woman's decision to live independently is often met with harsh judgment. Her ex-husband's family and those with traditional mindsets may label her as "disrespected" or even perpetuate damaging rumors, questioning her character.

This stigma stems from outdated patriarchal attitudes, which dictate that a woman's life should be supervised by a male figure – father, brother, uncle, or husband. Such views relegate women to second-class citizenship, stripping them of freedom.

While it's natural for families to feel hurt and angry after a divorce, spreading rumors or attempting to control the individual's movements is unacceptable. These tactics, once commonplace, are now recognized as immature and abusive.

Rather than judging, wouldn't it be wiser to respect the couple's decisions and prioritize their well-being?
