They are thousands citizens in Canada holding dual citizenship, they born in foreign countries and immigrated to Canada.
Except some countries which their rules make you loose your foreign citizenship for being eligible to become Canadian citizen , they are many countries let you become dual citizenship holders .
However it looks advantageous but after Covid-19 and spreading disease over borders ,seems dual citizens neither consider Canadian nor foreign countries citizen anymore .
Pushing away from hiring , investment, receiving limited governmental benefits and even pushing out of country by those who consider themselves Canadian are a few unpleasant facts dual citizens are facing.
On another side , preventing Canadian citizen in foreign countries from owing properties, jobs or investments by those who stayed in country over immigration are two sides trouble for dual citizens.
